Botanical Name:Alnus Rubra
Density:ca. 449 kg/m³
One of the most used woods on guitar industry. Over all we can see it on guitars and basses let's call them "VINTAGE". I think it's a wood that blends perfectly with a good top of maple or Spanish Walnut.
Its color is light brown and is defined by its fine and straight grain, which allows us to make translucent finishes.
Alder is favored by blues and rock players for its strong, clear, full-bodied sound, with beefy mids and excellent lows.
Alnus Rubra doesn't appear on the list Cites, so it doesn't need certification any kind.
